The cable car will allow you to try downhill mountain bike.

Chamrousse
in winter :
Olympic ski station of the Alps in 1968,
Chamrousse with its 80 km of downhill ski-run
has the privilege to be situated at the foot
of the wild Freydane peak glacier which receives
excellent snow fall every year. Beginners
and very experienced skiers or snowboarders
will find ski-runs adapted to suit their
level… In Chamrousse you can ski from 9am
to 7pm every day and to10pm on Thursday.
For other types of snow sports : there is
a vast plateau of 35 km with perfectly groomed
cross country trails. People who are not
skiing, can always enjoy snowshoes trekking,
skating...
